Nazareth, Mount Tabor, and Tiberias

Nazareth

Start your day in Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel, known for its Christian heritage. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, one of the most important Christian pilgrimage sites, where it is believed the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear Jesus. Explore the Old Market for local food and handmade goods.

Mount Tabor

Drive to Mount Tabor, believed to be the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. You can hike to the top or drive and then visit the Church of the Transfiguration, which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Galilee landscape.

Tiberias & Sea of Galilee

Head to Tiberias, a city on the shores of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret). Take a walk along the promenade and visit the Hamat Tiberias National Park, known for its ancient hot springs and synagogue mosaics. Enjoy dinner with a view of the lake at one of the waterfront restaurants.

Travel to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, a natural wonder where white limestone cliffs meet the Mediterranean. You can take a cable car down to explore the beautiful sea caves, formed by waves crashing against the rock. The turquoise waters inside the grottoes are mesmerizing.
